A Man of God

On his journey to escape a country where organized religion is punishable by death, a man of faith seeks refuge with a small family in an old farmhouse for the evening. As the priest befriends the daughter, his true intentions become clear to everyone around him and he must choose between his faith and his life.

Matthew Herbertz is currently a second year graduate film student at Ohio University pursuing his MFA. He originates from Indianapolis, Indiana and received a B.A. in TV/FILM production at DeSales University in 2013. His previous work has screened at festivals around the country including the DC Independent Film Festival, SouthSide Film Festival, and the Athens International Film and Video Festival.
