The Grad

A subtle comedy about a student, Charlie, graduating university who now has to confront a future with no net to catch him anymore.

Anna is a British writer and filmmaker. She has written an award winning short film called ‘The Box’ and made a film with the BBC entitled ‘Is The BBC For Me?’. She was also part of the BAFTA Youth Board for two years.
She was awarded with the IdeasTap Short Film Fund and the One KX Film School Fund, before getting involved in ‘The Grad’.
Anna has also taken two ‘sell-out’ shows to the Edinburgh Fringe and written for many of the Bristol Old Vic Young Company’s devised pieces, including the acclaimed 'Narcissus and Echo'.
In 2012, she was shortlisted for the Lancelot Andrewes Poetry Award judged by the poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy and has had her poetry published in both the anthology titled ‘Journeys through Fire’ and in the Department of Health’s Confidential Enquiry 'Death by Indifference'.
She is currently working in collaboration with theatre-makers and musicians.
